Where can I purchase a Lifetime table?
Visit the Table & Chair retail stores page  for a list of some of the major retailers who carry our products in-store, as well as those who sell Lifetime products online.
What is the warranty on a Lifetime table?
The warranty on a Lifetime table or chair depends on the actual product, as well as the product line. The warranty for each product is listed in the text next to each product picture. Visit the Table & Chair warranty information page  for a complete copy of each warranty.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Please visit the main Warranty page for instructions and more details.
Where is the model number on the table or chair that I need to register my product?
Often times the model number will be stated on the product label, near the UPC. If you no longer have your label, contact the Lifetime Customer Service department for assistance in determining which model you purchased.
What is polyethylene and why is it better than wood?
Polyethylene is a plastic that is virtually indestructible. It will not chip, crack or peel like particleboard laminates. Lifetime tables provide many advantages wood just can't offer. Polyethylene is more durable, easier to clean, lightweight, and is ideal for indoor and outdoor use. The rounded edges will not cut your hands and provides a great handle for carrying.
What makes the steel legs on a Lifetime table or chair weather-resistant?
Lifetime uses a powder coating process on its steel which coats a bare metal object with electro-statically charged powder. It is then baked at a high temperature. Powder coating is the most durable coloring process on the market. It is better than traditional paints. Lifetime also adds a hammer-tone finish which is a textured powder-coating finish that is better and more durable than smooth powder since it is resistant to scratches.
What is BIFMA and why is it important?
BIFMA stands for Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturing Association. BIFMA sets industry standards for commercial grade furniture. Lifetime exceeds all  BIFMA standards.
How much weight can a Lifetime table hold?
Lifetime tables meet BIFMA standards for strength and durability.
Will a Lifetime table fade outdoors?
All products left out in the sun for extended periods of time will eventually fade. However, Lifetime tables have UV inhibitors that help prevent fading and maintain the integrity of the polyethylene when exposed to sunlight providing years of color.
How do I remove the product's adhesive label?
To remove adhesive labels without harming the finish on your product in any way, try rubbing cooking oil into the label.  This softens the adhesive enough so that you can lift the label off of product. After the label is removed, wash away the excess oil by wiping off the product using a damp cloth and a small amount of dish soap, or by immersing it water. To remove any remaining adhesive from your product, we also suggest using:
Does Lifetime Products make carts for tables or chairs?
Yes. These carts are available through online retails stores.
How many tables does the cart hold?
10 banquet style tables or seven 5ft. round tables.
Will a Lifetime table stain?
Lifetime tables and chairs are resistant to most household stains. Our tables and chairs are made primarily of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), which is particularly stain-resistant with organic stains, but oil and wax-based stain (crayons, greasy foods, etc.) residue may remain on our tables and won’t wipe off with just soap and water. We recommend several other methods that have proven more successful at removing these stains.
How do I clean a Lifetime table?
We recommend cleaning Lifetime table and chair surfaces with a damp cloth and mild dish soap. For tougher-to-remove organic stains, use a mild abrasive such as Soft Scrub® and a soft-bristle brush. Regular dish soap is great for oily food stains. Rubbing alcohol is great for stains caused by vegetable based oils. The more viscous automotive greases and oils can be removed using a simple de-greaser. For wax-based stains (crayons) we recommend hot water, regular dish soap and light cleansing with a Scotch Bright® pad.
