Charitable Donation Requests
We sincerely appreciate your request for a product donation. Lifetime’s charitable donations program includes cash and product donations to nonprofit organizations within the state of Utah that positively impact the communities where we live and work. Special consideration is given to nonprofit organizations with which employees serve in a volunteer capacity.
Supported Programs
In considering requests for support, priority is given to local organizations that stress excellence and community participation, especially where children are involved. Special consideration is given to programs that promote active lifestyles.
Civic Affairs
Lifetime does not generally provide funding for governmental agencies. Partnerships may be considered if a program offers opportunities for self-sufficiency. Lifetime will actively support our area schools and school-related programs. Nonprofit organizations providing direct volunteer or emergency services to Lifetime employees may be supported. In addition, funding may be provided to local environmental agencies with programs designed to resolve problems such as energy conservation, waste disposal and land re-development. Opportunities to support organizations that encourage economic development and public-private partnerships are considered.
Areas Not Funded
Generally, Lifetime does not provide support for the following:
- Nonprofit organizations outside the state of Utah
- Individuals
- Religious organizations
- Fraternal organizations (Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis)
- Political organizations (League of Voters; election committees)
- Scout Troops
- Conventions
- Labor groups
- Social clubs
- Veterans organizations
If you feel you meet the above requirements, requests for donations must be submitted in writing on your organization’s letterhead to the address below (e-mail is not acceptable):

All donation request proposals must be made in writing on the organization's letterhead. The following information must be included in each request:
- A copy of the organization's 501(c)(3) tax exempt determination from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service.
- Organization address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, name of primary contact and executive director.
- One paragraph description of the organization and its mission statement.
- Concise description of the project. Include project goals, demographics and number of people who will benefit from the project, the timeframe and a brief description of staff responsible for the project.
- Amount of requested contribution and a total project budget.
- Planned use of the contribution. Include a description of any other support for the project.
Due to the heavy volume of inquiries that we receive, please allow up to 4 weeks for a response to your request.
Gifts In Kind International
When an exception is made and a Lifetime product donation is given to a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization outside our area, it is generally coordinated through Gifts in Kind International.
