LIFETIME WINS INJUNCTION AGAINST GSC

CLEARFIELD, UTAH (July 9, 2003) -- Lifetime Products Inc., a worldwide leader in the folding table market, announced today that it was granted a preliminary injunction by the United States District Court for the District of Utah against GSC Technology Corporation, a Canadian company charged with copying Lifetime’s recently introduced Personal Table™ product line.

Lifetime introduced its Personal Table™ product line last fall.  The Personal Table™ is a durable, versatile and portable personal space solution with adjustable height settings, designed for indoor and outdoor use.

Upon learning that GSC had begun marketing and distributing a copy of the Lifetime Personal Table™, Lifetime brought suit for infringement of various Lifetime patents that protect the innovative designs embodied in the Lifetime Personal Table. The court has determined that Lifetime will probably win at trial and has, therefore, preliminarily enjoined GSC from importing or selling its infringing product into or within the United States.

Lifetime intends to continue its vigorous pursuit of all available remedies against GSC and other unauthorized infringers of Lifetime's valuable intellectual property assets. The law firm of Workman Nydegger is representing Lifetime.

In 1998, Lifetime introduced the first blow-molded polyethylene folding utility table to the market. Blow-molded polyethylene tabletops are stronger, lighter, and more durable than wood, and are stain resistant.
