It did take a long time to assemble. My pins to hold the barrels in place broke pretty shortly after we purchased it. All of the metal inside of the barrels began rusting shortly after we started using it. When it rains water gets inside of the lid, so when you tumble it you can hear water sloshing around inside of it. The closing mechanism has always been stiff but has been functional and served it's purpose, until today. One of the bars of the latch snapped off when I tried to turn it. It has composted a lot of soil over the last few years, but I don't think I will purchase this model again.
Date published: 2016-07-31

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paul from Great Product I have been using the Composter for about a month. The Compost is developing and I am still adding to the first batch. The second composter is still empty. The unit has small flies (normal) but has little oder and is very easy to add material, rotate to mix and will be easy to empty. I really love the dual composter concept. When if finally get to the second composter/batch I'll have plenty of time for the first batch to cook and complete the final conversion to compost. I even through a chicken in there 3 weeks ago and currently don't see any remains. Assemply was somewhat easy. I did some assembly after sunset and had to disassemble and reassembly the composter drum, but it only resulted in a little extra time.
Date published: 2016-06-02

Dual Compost Tumbler Reviews - page 2

2016-12-03T10:32CST

bvseo_cps, prod_bvrr, vn_cps_3.4.0

cp_1, bvpage1

co_hasreviews, tv_1, tr_30

loc_en_US, sid_60072, PRD, sort_mostRecent

clientName_LifetimeProducts
