My wife and her girlfriend actually built the trailer while I was out of town. They did a fantastic job and all I had to do was check the tightness of the nuts! We have used the trailer for camping 3 times this year, Set up was a challenge at first but by the end of the season we have it down to a science. We have used the trailer in the cargo mode and it works fantastic! The only drawback I can find about this trailer is that there is no screen door for the tent. I expected one for the price we paid. All in all we are very happy with the purchase. </span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2013-09-07</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2013-09-07" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="" data-reviewid="29598409"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Lifetime" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype=""> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span></span> by <span itemprop="author">Trent</span> from <span itemprop="name">The affordable, fuel efficient gear hauling camping rig!</span> <span itemprop="description">I find good reviews important these days and feel like folks should provide feedback on products after having them for a while. I posted my first initial review of the product when we had just put it together. After two years living with the Life Time tent trailer and also having other outdoorsy family use it the verdict is... #1 Exceptional design, and well built trailer. The utility aspect is something that results in lots of use beyond just camping. I haul my 12ft racing sailboat to the club once a month to go race it - we have hauled chairs and umbrellas and tables to large family events - we have hauled house stuff and made trips to the dump with it. Not counting the camping trips where we have strapped kids toys down to the deck along with bundles of fire wood and other random gear that we would never have taken with us if we had the standard tent trailer. The sailboat has also gone camping with us!I did add thick memory foam to the beds basically the same foam topper product you buy for your bed at home. It all fits still in the bag and makes the beds almost as good as our bed at home! Which is a big bonus after a day of hiking and and fun camping adventures. To help keep the trailer nice I do have a can of black spray paint and every now and then will go around and hit any scratches or chaff spots to keep the trailer looking sharp. Hands down the versatility, size, quality, and cost makes it a fantastic tool for the young family wanting a camping rig and the ability to haul kid stuff or toys with a small fuel efficient car. Our subaru 2.5 tows it great and gets great mileage 21mpg in the hills and 25-26mpg in the flat highway driving. A big bonus especially with todays fuel prices! </span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2013-09-07</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2013-09-07" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="" data-reviewid="29598410"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Lifetime" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype=""> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span></span> by <span itemprop="author">JD</span> from <span itemprop="name">Excellent Versatile Trailer</span> <span itemprop="description">Bought ours in 2012 and took it to Yosemite immediately. There was five of us sleeping in here with room to spare for one more easily. I am handy and it still took me 10-12 to put together but got it done. Needed a little help with the heavy parts. Very well built. Made to last for years which is one reason we bought it. Looked at a lot of regular pop ups and could not justify spending 5-15k on a new one that I could ONLY use for camping a couple of times a year when not working. This was cheaper and I can use it for a million reasons all year long. Tent material is also high quality except we somehow tore a strap off when setting it up. Cannot figure that one out. Several people were asking me where I got this when we were in Yosemite. One guy even took pictures. If you want versatility, don&apos;t want to sleep on the ground, and want to tow something with a car or van this is your best option. If you need to have a bathroom, sink etc. get a pop up but I don&apos;t think it is worth the money. We are going to wait until we get a real motorhome years from now perhaps. Thought the price was a little steep but.....then I saw trailers for wave runners etc. for like 2k and realized this was probably going to be worth it. When factoring in the savings on hotels, cabins etc in national parks, it is worth it and cannot put a price on the memories. The kids love it. I also will never need to buy a pick up truck because I basically have one without the mechanical maintenance and insurance costs. When you really think about it in this way at least in my case, the price was worth it. Only two minor complaints. Everyone is right in that it could have used a screen on the main door and the mustard color at the base could have been something else. Minor stuff really as there are plenty of windows and who cares about the color. Tent takes two people about 30 minutes to set up by they way. </span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2013-09-07</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2013-09-07" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="" data-reviewid="29598408"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Lifetime" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype=""> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span></span> by <span itemprop="author">Zobar</span> from <span itemprop="name">Great value.</span> <span itemprop="description">The family and I are thrilled with the trailer and really looking forward to several trips in 2012. Below is a little more information regarding the assemblage experience. We purchased this trailer right at the end of the camping season. We have had it now for at least a couple of months and have not been able to use it. I am really very excited to break it in. We have set it up a few times to show it off. So we are getting really good at setting up and tearing down. I was really surprised how it was delivered. I knew I would need to assemble it and I was ready to do so, but I did not expect they would get the whole kit onto one big pallet. Maneuvering the pallet off of the delivery truck with a pallet jack was quite the trick for the delivery guy, boarding on dangerous. Unpacking the pallet is a two person operation.I am a Director of Quality for an electronics company and can be somewhat of a perfectionist. I was really impressed with the kitting process Lifetime performed. I was amazed that there were no extra parts and an exact number of parts needed right down to the smallest washer. I did have an issue with 2 small lock nuts that were defective, but they are very common and I had some in my tool box. My wife and I started the project late in the afternoon on a Saturday and ran out of time so we finished the next day after church. This is definitely a project for 2. The top panels and axel were very heavy to try and handle alone. We followed the instructions and had no issues. We did struggle a little getting the trailer registered. The certificate of origin was not signed by Lifetime and the DMV gave us a hard time about that. Also there were 2 forms that had to be completed for a kit trailer and a trailer inspection was required. We were also asked for a certificate of weight, but they finally accepted the weight listed on the certificate of origin. All in all the we are real happy with the trailer. </span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2013-08-29</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2013-08-29" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="" data-reviewid="29598407"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Lifetime" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype=""> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span></span> by <span itemprop="author">Kipster</span> from <span itemprop="name">Great quality, engineering, and versatility in this product.</span> <span itemprop="description">I assembled this in about 4.5 hours. I&apos;m mechanically inclined and got a helping hand from my neighbor with holding one end of the axle and setting the two tops on, the rest didn&apos;t require any help. I was skeptical of buying such a large and expensive product without seeing it first hand, but was put at ease once it arrived and I saw the quality and thought that went into this tent/trailer combo. I was considering building my own and I&apos;m glad now that I didn&apos;t. The trailer is sturdy and well thought out. The axle has EZ lube hubs. There are numerous tie-downs. It tracks well behind my vehicle. I have tons of slop in my receiver yet it doesn&apos;t get noisy. The pictures don&apos;t do it justice, it really is a great looking little trailer. It is offroad capable. I love it, there are minor things I would change. When the sides are upright giving you a hi-side trailer, the sides move a little and can get noisy. This is something I can and will fix, but really not necessary for function. They did put rubber pads here and there to help with powder coating rubbing, though there should be a little more. I plan to add my own. NO COVER??? (not much to gripe about here guys)The tent is every bit as high quality as the trailer. The material is thick and sturdy, the seams are all heavy stitched, the underside is heavy coated with rubberized waterproofing. Initial setup isn&apos;t that quick, but once you have it together it goes up and down in a hurry. The accompanying mattresses aren&apos;t that thick, but between it and the expanded metal that has give to it underneath it is incredibly comfortable. There is a small hole covered with a velcro&apos;d flap that you can pull a cord through for power. It would be nice to have a screen door, but I&apos;&apos;ll live...... I know what your thinking.....that much $$$ for a trailer with a tent??.....I thought that myself... But I was not disappointed and I&apos;m a picky guy. In my humble opinion it&apos;s worth every bit what I paid for it. </span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2013-09-07</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2013-09-07" /> </div> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> if (document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection')) { document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection').style.display = 'none'; } </script> <!--end-reviews--> </div><ul id="BVSEO_meta" style="display:none!important"> <li data-bvseo="bvDateModified">2016-02-09T06:52CST</li> <li data-bvseo="ps">bvseo_cps, prod_bvrr, vn_cps_3.1.6</li> <li data-bvseo="cp">cp_1, bvpage1</li> <li data-bvseo="co">co_hasreviews, tv_0, tr_5</li> <li data-bvseo="cf">loc_en_US, sid_65043, PRD, sort_relevancy</li> <li data-bvseo="diagnostics">clientName_LifetimeProducts</li></ul> <!--end-bvseo-reviews--><!--BVSEO|dz:16251-en_US|sdk:v1.0.6.0-n|msg:timer 7ms -->
