Lots of nice features including plenty of storage (for a sit-on kayak) including two waterproof covered lockers and two bunge corded platforms all with quality marine fittings. Unique seating configuration allows the nicely padded and solidly hinged back to fold down for transportation. There is no seat bottom cushion, so I bought a closed cell seat pad and now it's super comfy even on all day paddles. Since this model is designed for fishing (and long periods of sitting still) Lifetime could have figured out a way to integrate a sat pad? But it's and easy fix. This kayak is perfect for the Florida Everglades and the lazy scenic rivers here but I've also taken it in the ocean (plenty of room for diving gear) and it is very stable in the surf. Really happy with this well designed kayak
Date published: 2013-10-17

Rated 5 out of 5 by unclerichie61 from great all around kayak bought this last spring(2012) first one, use for fishing ,ponds, and rivers. you won"t find a better kayak for the money. stable, easy too handle, runs good in the water. bought a 3 inch high seat, great for fishing, and seeing fish in shallow water. could not be any happier with this purchase.
Date published: 2013-06-08

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cutter707 from Good for the money!!! I got myself a Tamarack 120 this past summer (2013)... I have taken it out a bunch of times and I am ready to write a review. I bought this kayak based on the price alone. I had done the research, on all types and makes and models of kayaks. I narrowed it down to two, and I chose this one because, for an entry level kayak it was $250 less than the other one I wanted. For the price, you do get a lot however. Reading reviews on this kayak from other sites and vendors, there were complaints of there not being a seat cushion, and weak/faulty carry handles.I don't have these issues as mine had a seat cushion, and what looked to be different, more well constructed and more well fastened carry handles.I have only two complaints. The storage compartments/hatches, and how they are not individual spaces. They open into the hull of the boat, and that's just not practical! With a little creativity, and ingenuity you can customize the hatches, to be more functional for fishing. My other complaint is the construction of the stern hull(or back underside). If you notice in the picture you can see an elongated rectangular piece or what may act as a rudder... My guess is this is for stability, because you can stand on this kayak, and balance easily. However when paddling, the bulky shape of it causes the backside to "waggle". Sort of like a duck...This makes tracking slow, and hard work especially in choppy conditions! This is expected in a kayak under 12ft.Overall, for a beginner kayak, not a bad choice, especially if you are not looking to invest too much in a sport you may not enjoy, or eventually not have time for. ITS A GOOD BANG FOR THE BUCK, AND I RECOMMEND IT!!!
Date published: 2014-01-18

2014-11-27

bvseo-cps-pr-8,30

bvseo-cps-tr-3

bvseo-cps-vt-0

bvseo-cps-sr-relevancy

bvseo-cps-pl-CONV

bvseo-cps-cn-LifetimeProducts

bvseo-cps-tl-en_US

bvseo-cps-cp-1

bvseo-cps-en-PRD

bvseo-cps-ex-90237

bvseo-cps-bp-review_prod
