Heavy-Duty A-Frame Metal Swing Set (Earthtone)

Give your kids a break from TV with this heavy-duty backyard swing set. A metal swing set construction means low maintenance for you. Unlike a wooden swing set, with a metal construction you don't have to worry about splinters, warping, or rough edges. Powder-coated steel and UV-protected polyethylene plastic resisting rusting and discoloration as well as heat retention, so children can play comfortably. This heavy-duty backyard swing set is approximately 2 ft taller than cheaply built swing sets and is designed with 3 inch diameter steel posts at an extra-wide angle to provide greater stability. Chains are covered with soft grip chains to prevent little fingers from getting pinched. Kids will enjoy the fun. You will appreciate the safety and durability. For residential use only.

For more information about assembly, read the Owner's Manual Sample.

Assembly & Manuals

10-Foot Swing Set is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 53.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome sturdy swing-set I wanted a swing-set that would last more than a few years and not have my kids outgrow it too quickly. This set was perfect! It is definitely heavy-duty and much sturdier than the cheap sets at Walmart. The kids love it and can get pretty high on it, and it remains stable. My only complaint would be it that the assembly instructions should have an extra warning about the "inside" and "outside" brackets, they are nearly identical and it is easy to miss as you are putting it together, I made the mistake and only realized something was wrong when I tried to put the top bar on. Ended up having to take most of it apart to correct it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heavy duty, for sure Pros:"High quality swings","Looks great","Definitely "heavy duty"" Cons:"Difficult to assemble" Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Received this today, it took me about 4 hours to put it together, it's a real pain to put it together mainly because some of the drilled holes are not quite large enough for the bolts, so you have to force them through which is not easy since everything is heavy, solid steel. But now that it is finally together I am very happy with it. This is not your standard [...] type of swing, it is made with heavy steel pipes and very strong, easily strong enough for an adult to swing on for example. The swings themselves are I think the nicest I have seen. Overall I am impressed and the kids are happy too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY BIG AND STURDY My girls (ages 8 & 10) love this simple swing set.  It is very tall in height, much taller than their previous one.  I can swing on it without it moving.  My husband who is 200 lbs, should not go as high as he can.. it will move with him swinging on it.  Putting it together took a couple of hours.  None of the bolts went through easily.  I would have my husband hold the pieces and I would tell him to push a certain way so it would line up so that I could get the bolts through.  You must be patient and you should have two people who are good at working together to get the job done.  Otherwise, we are very happy with the end product.  It is super good quality... well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge! My husband and his brother put it together in about an hour (much easier than all the reviewers had indicated). We love it. Really. But it is terrifying to see our 4 yr old go sailing up so high. It seems higher than the playground swings, but maybe that's my imagination. Not sure if we can bury the legs, or take off the bottom bracket to make it shorter. We'll see. Hopeful our daughter learns to be safe and our 2yr old dd will too, eventually. Ugh. Maybe waiting another 2yrs would have been a good idea. We love the quality though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, Strong, and Built to Last We looked at many swing sets before we found this. The swing set my husband grew up with is still at his parents' home and our grandchildren now play on it. We wanted one like that---one that was built to last. This is the one; our grandchildren love it and even their parents get on it and swing or use the bars. It wasn't difficult to put together and it doesn't walk or bounce when in use. We plan to move it to a different spot this summer and don't anticipate any difficulty. We didn't need to cement it in--it is well balanced and heavy duty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic set Exactly what we needed: a swing set that can hold not-too-heavy adults that also doesn't have a bunch of extraneous accessories that won't get used (like a slide or a teeter totter). Took two adults more than 3 hours to assemble: the last two bolts on the top were a major bear to align and get through. Recommend working on as level a surface as possible. Also, we needed to use some of our own tools as the ones provided were not always the right size (the smaller hex bolts in particular). Very happy with this set, and all of our daughter's friends are equally thrilled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Swingset We searched all over for a metal swingset that would last. Finally decided to buy this one (over the cheap ones found at the local store) and we LOVE it. Its going to last forever. I read a few reviews about how difficult it was to set up, but it was easy. My husband did it in a couple hours with the help of a 3 & 4 year old. He did use a hand drill, so maybe that was the difference? It did take 2 adults to tip it up. My only complaint is that the swings were too short for my children and we had to go buy more chain links to make them longer. It is very sturdy even on our slightly slanted yard, I swing on it as high as possible and it never rocks. I love it! My kids love it! And the neighborhood kids love it! If you're slightly hesitatnt to spend money on this set - just do it. You will get more than your moneys worth.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great swing for 7 & 9 year old grandchildren The set arrived as promised. My husband, son, and grandson assembled the set in under 2 hours. They were pleased with the quality of the parts and ease of construction. One disappointment was that the top bar came in 3 parts. Other than that, the swing set is big and sturdy- just what we were looking for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for teens too! My 15 and 10 year old daughters wanted a swing set and the small ones you get from Walmart weren't going to cut it. So I found this online and knew it would be perfect. I don't use the trapeze bar ~ instead I hung a baby swing from there for my 2 year old grandbaby. The biggest problem with assembly was the metal sleeves that are suppose to slide into the pendulum. No way. The sleeve was too big for the pendulum. I went back online and saw someone else had the same problem. He said he got his in with a bench vice. We didn't have one of those so I ended up carving out some of the plastic out of the pendulum, coat the sleeve with WD40, and then my husband hammered the sleeves into the pendulum. That was the longest part of the assembly.  Also when it comes time to put the cross bar onto the A-frame, you have to lay on the ground to see if the holes are lined up and the screw is coming through. It wasn't easy. We thought we were going to have a problem putting it upright, but that was a breeze. All in all, it took us a little over 4 hours for my husband and I to put it together. The kids love it! My 15 year old complains that the swing is tight on her hips, but then she has full hips and it's not meant for hips that size. After she swings for a while, she gets use to it. I am twice her size and it was fine with me!Highly recommend if you have bigger kids and you don't want all the other stuff that comes with the smaller swing sets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong and Sturdy Swing Set! Very Happy! We bought this for our 9year old daughter who loves to swing. It took nearly 2 hours for my husband and I to put together. It was a little difficult to follow the instructions and the two A-frame brackets were quite difficult to build but other than that it was not too bad. We are so happy with this swing set. It is very sturdy and made of high quality steel. It does not rock back and forth like our old wooden swing set would do. I love that it will last through the weather and stay looking nice. Overall, very happy with this purchase!

I just received the anchor set for the heavy duty swing set, the holes in the foot do not line up with the holes in the swing set leg, so the bolt for the anchor set will not go in. Do I have the wrong feet or are the holes drilled in the wrong place?

The recommended weight capacity per swing is 150 lbs.
