Tall reclined back, wide contoured seat, and wide flat arm rests provide you with comfortable support and a handy place to set your refreshments. Full assembly required. Assembly & Manuals

Adirondack Chair is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 82.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Lot of Chair for the Money We purchased these for a mountain cabin. We are very pleased and feel we got a lot of chair for the money. I recommend you use an electric screwdriver, chucked with a #4 Hex and DO NOT OVERIGHTEN. I'm willing to bet a lot of the issues folks encounter happen when they tighten the screws too far. For whatever reason, my chair did not have instructions so I downloaded them from this site. When you assemble the chair your screws are in a package. You will notice there are four screws longer than the rest. Those are the last screws you use. If you try to put one in a hole intended for the smaller screw you will certainly damage the chair.I wish you made some other items in the Adirondack style, such as a lounger, footstool and tables. I would buy them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tip to keep them looking like new I bought two of these chairs one year ago and bought two more this year. I liked them that much! But I noticed the older ones looked sun faded and had little finger prints, etc, on them. I took some Pledge furniture polish and sprayed it on them and wiped them down and they look just like new again!! Do this in the shade. There is no residual oiliness at all just smooth and soft again. Great looking chairs!! And soooo comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I have had this chair about a month and after putting it together placed it in our family room to try it out and it has remained there ever since. It is comfortable and our whole family loves it not to mention our visitors. Super easy to put together. It looks like real wood, yet won't weather and splinter. Easy to clean. It is also heavy enough so that the wind can't blown it over. Very sturdy and well built. So much better than my plastic ones that blow over, crack easily and sun rot. We plan on getting a few more. These would also make great pool side chairs or to use in the outdoors at a cabin or recreational site. You won't be disappointed with this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not of good quality - won't last long. We bought 7 chairs. The design of the chairs is nice - they are comfortable, but the quality is bad. In the meantime out of those 7 chairs, 5 are damaged/broken. The material is not suitable for that purpose. The panels are too thin - they break. The holes for the screws are to close to the end/edge of the panels so that they holes of the screws also break. This artificial wood compound material is not strong enough. It just breaks. Not sure whether this is due to the fact that the chairs are exposed to direct sunlight most of the time, but I would not buy those chairs again, because the won't last long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great chair! Excellent chairs! My wife and I sit out on the lawn, in these, every afternoon! We added some generic patio furniture cushions and I lashed an inexpensive beach umbrella between the backrest and arm, which made them even more comfortable, even in the mid-day sun. That might be an idea for an upgrade--drill a mounting hole and add a clamp on the back support, or armrest, for an umbrella.PLEASE make some matching Adirondack footstools/ottomans!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Chairs!! I have always loved and have owned Adirondacks. The last four were made of wood. No need to tell you the problems with sanding, scraping and maintenance. These look beautiful, we have four. I wished there were tables, I think I will look to another maker for those. My wife loves these chairs too, it will be great to be able to rinse with the hose, dry with a towel and sit immediately, again something we could not do with the wood chairs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Chair You never know what to expect when buying something online. However, these chairs were a pleasant surprise. Well made, heavy duty and easy to assemble. Also, the faux wood material has a very real look and feel to it. Very happy with this purchase.

Ask a Question

We live in a cold, snowy state. Should the chairs be covered if left out in the winter months?

Asked by: Diane
These chairs are made for indoor and outdoor use and should do ok in the harsh weather. If you want to prolong the life of the chair and keep them looking their best we would recommend keeping them covered during heavy snow or rain.

Is it possible to paint a name on these chairs and it not peel off?

Asked by: Karen
We do not recommend painting, however, you may want to look into vinyl lettering. That will probably do better with holding the polystyrene (chair material) than paint.

Purchased two Adirondack chairs last year from Costco.  Would like to paint/stain them a gray color.  Is this a possibility?  If so, what type of paint should we use?  By the way, we love the chairs!

Asked by: Sally916
We're so glad you're enjoying your chairs. We don't have a paint/stain that we would recommend - you would need something specifically made to adhere to plastic. Try consulting with your local hardware stores paint specialist for recommendations. Good luck!

I have two of these chairs and have had four seat slats break on us. Always right in the middle of the slat. Bought at COSTCO in 2013, but did not retain receipt. Can you send us replacement slats?

Asked by: Norm0311

Costco Burbank CA had a chair like this but with a slide out ottoman. In my many calls to Costco stores, they could only give me their model # 538769...which is the same as this one except without the ottoman. I want to purchase 2.

Asked by: Lynda
We do not have an adirondack with a slide out ottoman.

What is the difference between this model 60064 and the one at costco model 60064U? Also, have seen a lot of reviews with broken slats. Going to be purchasing 6 of these and these reviews are making me question this?

Asked by: JWils
The two models are actually the same model. I am unsure why Costco adds the letter U at the end of the model but there are no differences as it is the exact same model. Our Adirondack chairs are our most popular outdoor furniture item and we are constantly listening to our customer's and trying to improve our product. Please feel safe with purchasing these chairs as they do come with a 2 year limited warranty on them that covers any kind of manufacturing defect with the product.
