6446 Outdoor Storage Shed 15 x 8 ft

6446 Outdoor Storage Shed 15 x 8 ft

Don’t let the decorative design fool you—The Lifetime 6446 shed is tough! Keep all your tools and garden equipment conveniently stored where you use them—in the yard. No more rummaging through the house or garage. The Lifetime 6446 shed also features several shelving units and peg strips to help you keep those tools organized and right at your fingertips. Constructed of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic and reinforced with powder-coated steel, this attractive outdoor shed is built to weather the storms year after year. Low maintenance and weather resistant. Best of all, no painting required! Made in the USA from US and imported parts. Not compatible with the Lifetime Extreme Weather Kit.

Consult local building codes before assembly. This shed must be built on a flat level foundation of wood or concrete (not included). It is designed with a slight indentation in each corner of the floor so that you can drill through the flooring to secure it to the foundation. Anchoring hardware depends on the type of foundation you have and is therefore not included in the shed kit. Not including the installation of the foundation, you can expect assembly of the shed itself to take 2 adults up to 6 hours.

For more information about assembly, read the Owner's Manual Sample and watch our helpful video on How To Build A Lifetime Shed. (Components will vary between different models).

Assembly & Manuals

15' x 8' Garden Building is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doors not design correctly Purchased 18 months ago, door hardware sticks and frame sags above doors making it very hard to close doors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Took a long time to assemble but I'm done! So far I am happy with the shed. I built a wood base elevated off of the ground and then assembled the shed on top of that. If I could so anything differently, I would have had a concrete slab poured instead of constructing the wood base. Even though I leveled the base, I think it began to settle after a few days and the shed wasn't assembled on a perfectly level surface. One thing I will say is that if you try and put this shed together on a slightly non-level base, it will be a beast to get all of the panels and screws to lineup. It took me about 18 hours to put this together and that's with my 16 year old daughter helping me. But once completed, it really is nice. I do have concerns about the strength of the screws as many of them do not seem snug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and Practical, but beautiful Took a long time to assemble, but it has survived many extreme windstorms. Fits the riding lawnmower and plenty of other yard equipment. The skylights provide plenty of visibility and the shed looks great in any yard

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes my yard look great! I bought this for my house because I don't have a garage and need some where to put my yard equipment, tools and other storage stuff. Now my yard doesn't look like suck a disaster. Thanks life time for making such a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ROOM!!! ROOM!!! I've had this shed two years now, had it at a rental house first and now at my own home, I love the durability of it! We had a serious wind storm come thru recently, it tore up our gazebo ,put holes into our siding and our window screens due to the inch size hail...this shed stood tall thru it all without any damage whatsoever.... I have a riding lawn mower , push mower, snowblower, a set of tires , wheelbarrow, and a quite a few other things in this shed!!! It has ROOM still! I love it!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really Like the Product I purchased this over the Memorial Day weekend and finally had a chance to put it together. I was a little worried when I saw the manpower and hours required to assemble. I solo assembled after constructing a base 18inches off the ground. It took be about 4 hours a day over 3 days, 5 counting the base. I used clamps, bungee cords, jacks, and straps to make it work. Instructions were decent, videos helpful materials nice. I am a little worried about the ability of the screws to hold in the plastic parts - but that is yet to prove a problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from durable shed I have had this shed for over 4 years now and it has proven to be very durable in Utah weather. From the high winds to the freezing snow, and blistering summers the shed has never warped or leaked a drop. Greaat product!

Ask a Question

The shutters instructions are very vague.  The screws don't seem long enough to go through the walls from the inside. How do you install these?

Do you have reenforcement roof support to sell?

Asked by: jessie
We do not have a specific kit for this model but we do have a snow load kit for our 10'x8' sheds (60125) that if you purchase two kits you would have enough for the size you are asking about.

Regarding the Lifetime 6446 Garden Storage Shed (15 X 8 Ft): 1) Is this shed all one big room on the inside, or is it divided with a wall(s)? 2) If I'm installing this against our house are there gutters to prevent water run off to the back? Thanks!

Asked by: Seprep
The inside of our sheds are designed as one big room. Also we do not have gutters on the roof so water would run to the back of the shed if it were to fall on that side.

I purchased this shed a few years ago. At that time they was an expansion kit available. Is it still available? If it is please let me know the ordering information.

Asked by: kevork
Yes you can get the 8x2.5 ft. expansion kit, model 6446. But if a shed is longer than 15 ft. it will void the warranty.
