Reviews

In-Ground, 54" Steel-Framed Acrylic, Power Lift is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shaky My son received this Hoop for his birthday last year and finally got around to putting it up. The instructions were pretty easy to follow for the most part. The only thing I am skeptical about, is it going to last. The instructions say to only put it in the ground 2 feet. It seemed very light. He started shooting hoops on it and every time he hit the backboard the whole pole and backboard would shake. It does not seem very sturdy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome hoop! We bought this hoop last year and it has been awesome! It was fairly easy to put together and install with a little muscle help. It has been very sturdy and we love how easy it is to adjust the height. The power lift system is epic! We have ages 35 down to 3 that want to play, and we adjust it frequently. It is very smooth to adjust. We have enjoyed this hoop and it seems to hold up in the cold or warm weather just fine. We also bought the court marking kit, but we haven't had a chance to paint it on yet. Excited for that when the snow melts!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pole Bent...for the price not good Bought this basketball system for my son. After reading about Lifetime products, this was the Inground system we could afford, it was around $400.00. And I was happy with their company. The pole was up for about 3 months and the design of the three poles held together by screws, is a poor design!! Lifetime did provide us with new poles, so needless to say we have to reinstall everything and undo the old pole, which is in cement and put it all together again.I suggest to buy the more expensive pole or to buy the portable cheaper one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value in-ground Have had this installed for 18 months now. A bit of rust appearing on the pole, but the adjustment is still smooth. It's not a $1500 setup, and I don't expect it to be as robust, but it will see the kids through to college!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well We've had this installed for more than 5 years. The handle recently broke, but was replaced free of charge by Lifetime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product even better customer service I got the hoop almost 4 years ago and the part that makes it go up and down froze. Called in they told me I had a 5 year warranty I could have ended up paying a lot for replacements and not been to upset instead I got a new re designed better part and dealt with a great guy who took great care of me. Thank you !!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy! Assembly instructions were ok to follow, but once i had the basketball net up we played with it for about 5 minutes before the two bolts holding the height adjustment snapped. Making the basketball net unusable.

Ask a Question

Assembly of my 78888 model was going great.  I'm attaching the second last bolt, through the plastic handle that engages the piston, it is off by 1/4 inch so that I can't get the bolt through.  Any ideas?

Asked by: Todd
Hi , we just assembled ours this week and ran into a similar problem. If you disengage to the top part of cylinder it is easier to line up the handle bolt, then re-attach the top bolt once bottom handle bolt is attached. I was getting frustrated and ready to re-drill a new bigger hole but looked at it the next day with a new perspective and came up with this easier solution. Hope it help you . Good Luck

Are there any tips to level the rimonce you're done. The Pole seems street however the rim is angled right to left about an inch higher on the left

Asked by: Bob E
One way to change the angle of the rim is to loosen one side of the hardware slightly and tighten the other side a little more if possible.
