Description

The Lifetime's Double Slide Deluxe playset is the only outdoor toy you'll need to create an awesome playground in your own backyard. Perfect outdoor entertainment for daycare homes, it is designed with a dozen activities to keep a yard full of kids happily entertained all day long. Accommodates up to ten kids or a weight capacity of 1200 lbs. Recommended for ages 3 - 12 yrs. old. For residential use only.

Fun Features

Lifetime has taken all of the traditional favorites and improved upon them. Kids will be delighted with the hardtop clubhouse complete with chalkboard, a captain's wheel, and oversized binoculars as well as an attached climbing wall and cargo climbing net. They'll also enjoy the 3-seater propeller swing suspended under the clubhouse deck. The extra long swing bar is designed with three belt swings and one trapeze bar with attached gym rings. The monkey bars include a fireman's pole at one end. And last, but not least, this model is designed with two fun wavy slides because when it comes to kids, the bumpier the ride the better!

Heavy-Duty Construction

Lifetime playsets are not only designed for fun, but constructed for safety. No lead based materials are used. All edges are rounded or covered with plastic caps to prevent scrapes and scratches. Non-slip marine decking used for the floor of the clubhouse. Swing chains are encapsulated with rubber hand grips to keep little hands from getting pinched. And the entire system is weather protected with powder-coated steel and UV inhibitors to resist rusting, warping, and heat retention. Kids play safely and comfortably!

Assembly takes approximately 10 to 12 hours. For more information about assembly, read the Owner's Manual Sample.

For information on adequate playground surfacing for various fall heights, refer to page 11 of the Handbook for Playground Safety pertaining to Playground Surfacing by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Reviews

Double Slide Deluxe Playset (Earthtone) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review after 5 years of use. We have the model prior to this one, with only one slide. It was called the Deluxe Playset the time, so I'm reviewing here. Over all the playset has held up well. With the exception of the slide, roof, and rock wall, which have all held up excellent, all other items are in need of replacement. This includes swings, and accessories such as binoculars (will replace with aftermarket to find better quality swings). We do not have the rope ladder, so I can not speak on that.I would also point out that the set is in need of repainting, mainly the brown areas. The powder coating was thin in some areas, and the metal is rusting. It is still very structurally sound, the paint issues are cosmetic. Unfortunately, no maintenance was a selling feature as related to paint. It is still much better than anything sold at the local hardware store. We live in Houston, so you can base your judgements on hot summers, and light winters. It is used year round, so we do not bring swings or anything indoors ever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Investment Grade Playset We wanted something to tuck into the woods that we could install once and be done through our kids and hopefully grandkids. After hours of searching online and testing local Amish-built options, we landed on this set. Even though it required hours of assembly, my wife, 9-year-old son and I were able to get this together snugly with minimal sway even with "big kids" swinging. :-) 5 years later, all 3 of our kids and their many cousins can still enjoy this set. Easy to clean, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kids love it! I bought this on sale at Costco and it was the best 2 grand I've ever spent! I took months looking for the perfect swing set. I wanted 2 slides so the kids could race, monkey bars, and swings. I also wanted one that adults could go on too so I could play with my kids. This one fit the bill. I can swing with my kids with no issues and go down the slides too. Both my four year old and two year old love it! They enjoy all the extra features like the steering wheel, propeller swing, and chalk board. The only downside is that there are spots of rust and it's been less than a year, but Lifetime customer service has been excellent.

Double side deluxe: different dimensions AND safety zone in the drawings vs the specs tab.  Drawing: assembled set 223" by 223", while specs shows 18'8" by 20'2". Safety zone drawing is 32' by 30'7", while specs show 33'11" by 32'2".  Which is it?

Asked by: TPMD
I apologize about the confusion. The correct measurements for this play set are 18'7" (5.7m) x 20' (6m) and the correct safety zone measurement is 30'7" (9.3m) x 32' (9.8m).

Can I leave off the slide on the monkey bars? We don't really need two slides and it would make it easier to fit in our landscape.

Asked by: Tori3531
We recommend fully assembling the play set as it is designed.

Trying to assemble the rope climbing part of this set to the poles. We cannot assemble or stretch the rope to the width of the poles. It's short by a couple of inches. Help? The instructions are terrible as they just show pictures, noting more.

I have three questions: 1) How long are the slides? 2) If the total weight capacity is 1200 Lb, Will it be ok for a 180 Lb parent to use the swings once in a while? 3) What is the weight capacity of the monkey bars? Will it hold the 180 Lb parent?

Asked by: Loretto
The slides are 9 ft long each and the total weight capacity for the playset is 1200 lbs. For specific weight capacities for the monkey bars and swings, you can contact our Customer Service at 1-800-225-3865 or email at customercare@lifetime.com.

We have just purchased this playset and it is in the process of shipping. Could you please tell me what tools are required for putting this playset together. I'm sure it'll be in the instructions but I'd like to purchase them to be here when it arrives.
