This past Sunday afternoon I was able to skip out of church a little early to do a radio interview with our friends at 96.5 FM in Florida. Ken and Jared, father and son, do a weekly home improvement show called "In the House" where they invite “experts” in various categories to come talk about products to improve your home. As part of this interview, they are giving away a Lifetime 7'x7' Storage Shed model 60042.
This was the third show of this type that I have done since I’ve been here at Lifetime. I keep a tally of the number of times I say “um” or “like” or some other filler word. This time I only counted six which was a big improvement. I have to admit it is fun talking about something I am so passionate about. I am very content working out in the garden, and with the great weather we’ve been having here in Utah have had a lot of opportunity to do some gardening.
The 7'x7' Lifetime Shed they are giving away is fairly new out in the market. This is the shed that I will be putting in my own yard in the next week or so. I have been without a shed since we moved over a year ago. My favorite feature of this shed is the full-length skylight which is embedded in the roof peak. It lets in a lot of light but is virtually hidden from the outside. By the way, if you live in Florida, you can still enter to win this shed for the next few weeks by visiting the "In the House Radio Show" on Facebook.
I guess if I have any future in media it’s not going to be as the hunk on the latest soap opera, the soap opera people have never asked. But a face for radio, I’ve got that!
In case you weren't able to hear the interview live on the radio, I've included a link to the podcast below. (It's the 4/22 show.) Happy Gardening.
