IMG_1478.jpgThis summer’s semi-annual company meeting was a brand new experience for me.  Over past years here at Lifetime, all employees have had the opportunity to hear about the progress and state of the company.  And since Lifetime is a privately-owned company, it’s important that the employees are directly involved!

What was amazing was the opening part of the meeting where we saw how the company has been featured and showcased in public relations this year. From a spotlight on The Price is Right where our kayaks were a showcase prize, to the local news where the work done in our metals and plastics factories took the front stage, to our service project at the Utah State University Botanical Center, and so much more.  I could see that we definitely made waves this year!  And these features on Lifetime are only the beginning.

After hearing aboutIMG_1435.jpg the valuable role of safety in the workplace and the importance of making our jobs here at Lifetime accident-free, we got into the meat and potatoes.  We discussed the expansion and opening of a new Lifetime Store coming to St. George, UT. And each category at Lifetime was featured; we saw the growth of our Tables & Chairs, Lawn & Garden, Sporting Goods, and Water Sports.  And we heard of the positive headway in our move towards new changes, and even…new products that we’re partnering with, and others hitting shelves this next year! Hearing about the growth plans just reinforced who we are, for me: innovative.

Lifetime is growing. We’re moving forward.  We always have, and always will. As many of our new products and changes come forward, you can be sure they’ll reflect who we are, and what we plan to keep doing for you, our customers.  We can’t thank you enough!
