It is quite common in the wild world of outdoor sports, for companies to sponsor up-and-coming paddlers. Lifetime has just taken on the sponsorship challenge. As you may have read in my earlier blog about our Lifetime Hooligan Youth Stand-up Paddleboard, we found a Utah local who is sure to make a splash in the paddleboard world.
We would like to introduce you to our super kid, Mac!! He is only 10 years old but is quickly becoming a master of Stand-up Paddleboarding! Mac’s dad, Gary, is a long-time surfer and has bestowed his wisdom and skill upon his son.
Mac has been entering paddleboard contests around Utah, and has been blowing away his competition! He recently placed 1st in the Weber River Paddleboard Race and the Jordenelle Reseviour Paddleboard Race. Congratulations, Mac! His Dad says that everywhere he goes, people tell him that Mac is the next big thing in paddleboards. The best part, he wins these competitions on either the Lifetime Hooligan or the Lifetime Freestyle XL!! Many of the other athletes have $3,000 paddleboards!! Yikes! Who needs an overpriced board when the Lifetime Paddleboard is so affordable, efficient, and fun! (The Lifetime Hooligan is only $249 at Sports Authority.)
