This past weekend Lifetime's official outlet store, Backyards Inc, was at the Spring Home and Garden Show in the South Towne Expo Center of Utah. Traditionally, this is one of it's biggest shows of the year, and this year was no exception. The Backyards booth was packed as usual. The final tally of guests at the show was estimated at 35,000-50,000 people!

Backyards debuted several new Lifetime products at this show, that they have never got to show off here before. The Jumping Jack Tent Trailer, Double Shot, and the new 7x7 Shed were all very popular. Many customers commented on  the 7x7 shed, saying it was a lot of shed for the money. And their actions proved it--- It was the best selling shed at the show!

As usual for Backyards Inc, they spent a majority of the time talking tp people about playsets. Since they have recently taken over retail sales for playset manufacturer Backyard Adventures, Backyards Inc. now sells wood playsets alongside Lifetime metal playsets. Since they put both on display, several people voiced concerns that the metal playsets would get too hot for their children to play on. Lifetime has heard this concern a few times, and those at the show were excited to explain that Lifetime playsets are made with 100% powdercoated metal, and the powdercoating makes them retain much less heat in the sun. Also, the slides and roof-tops are all plastic, which retains very little heat as well.

Other products on display (and for sale) at this show included:

Lifetime playsets
Lifetime sheds
Lifetime Tetherball
The Lifetime Airplane
Lifetime Double shot
Jumping Jack Tent Trailer by Lifetime
Lifetime Deck box
Lifetime Glider bench
And plenty of Lifetime Kids picnic tables!

If you're in Utah this time next year, hope to see you at the Spring Home Show!
