Returns Policy


You may cancel your order for a full refund before it is has been released to the warehouse in preparation for shipment.  You may email us at to see if your order can still be cancelled.  After an order has been released to the warehouse you will no longer be able to cancel an order.  At this point we will have to process a return for your order.


Products in "new condition" may be returned to us up to 15 days after receiving an order. In order for products to be considered in "new condition", they must be unused, unassembled, and contain all original product packaging and accessories. All returns will be charged a 15% restocking fee and the cost of return shipping.  Returns not accepted on customized items.  Refunds are processed once the item arrives back at Lifetime.

How to Return your item(s)

1.  Item must be securely packaged to prevent damage during return shipping.

FedEx Ground Returns (Generally items under 150 lbs.)

A. We will issue a call tag for Fedex to pick up the item on a scheduled day.  Leave the item(s) on your doorstep on the scheduled day.


B. You may request that a return shipping label be emailed to you and you can take your package to the nearest Fedex location.  

LTL Shipment Returns (Large items such as sheds, play sets, tables, etc.)

A.  You will be given a date that the LTL carrier will arrive to pick up your item.  

Receiving Your Refund

Lifetime will process refunds upon receipt of the returned items(s). Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment that was originally used to purchase the product. The total refund amount will be the total amount paid minus return shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee on total product cost. The refund will include any appropriate sales taxes paid. Please note that it can take 2-7 business days for the refund to reflect on your bank statement after it has been issued by Lifetime.

Items Damaged in Shipping

Please open and inspect your items immediately upon arrival. You will have 10 days from the day you receive your order to make claims for any item damaged during shipping. After this time period, claims for damage incurred during shipment will be denied. For assistance with your claim, please call our Buylifetime Sales Representatives at +1 (800) 424-3865 - option 1.

Conditions of "Free Shipping"

Our "Free Shipping" covers all standard shipping and handling charges in the US to get our product safely from us to you. It does not include return-shipping fees.
