BlowMolded Table Inventor Transforms Folding Tables Again
October 12, 2012
CLEARFIELD, UTAH — Lifetime Products, Inc., the inventor and world leader of blow-molded folding tables and chairs, is unveiling a new line of stacking folding utility tables - the biggest transformation to hit the folding table industry since Lifetime's introduction of blow-molded tabletops in 1998.
The new Lifetime Stackable Commercial Folding Tables from Lifetime Products Inc., feature an innovative nesting design allowing multiple tables to easily be stacked together without sliding or tipping. This stacking design is 20 percent more efficient for storage, transportation, and packaging. With the new design, commercial users of the product can now stack 26 tables in the same space that 21 tables previously occupied.
Additionally, the Lifetime Stackable Commercial Folding Tables boast a sleek, new modern look with exposed steel channels to highlight the increased strength of the tables which can hold up to 2,000 pounds of evenly distributed weight. The tabletops are blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and the new patented frame is constructed from High Strength Low Alloy Steel (HSLA). The new design and materials create a nearly 10 percent lighter weight table while maintaining the same strength and stability expected in Lifetime tables. In addition to the lighter weight, the new tables also have molded carry handles at each end of the tabletop to make carrying and transporting the table even easier.
Like all Lifetime folding tables, the HDPE tabletop is UV-protected and stain resistant, easy to clean, and will not crack, chip, or peel. Likewise, the sturdy steel frame has a powder-coated finish that protects against weather, rust, and corrosion. The Lifetime Stackable Commercial Folding Tables exceed ANSI/BIFMA commercial furniture standards and are backed by a ten-year warranty.
Just in time for holiday entertaining, the Lifetime Stackable Commercial Folding Tables are now available at Sam's Club in a 6-foot rectangular size (72" x 30") for only $49.74. The matching 8-foot rectangular (96" x 30") and 60-inch round sizes will be available at Sam's Club by spring 2013.
In 1995, Lifetime Products invented blow-molded polyethylene picnic tabletops. Blow-molded polyethylene tabletops are stronger and more durable than wood. Lifetime expanded its blow-molding technology in 1998 by introducing the first blow-molded polyethylene folding banquet table. Established in 1986, Lifetime Products, Inc. is a privately-held company headquartered in Clearfield, Utah. For more information about Lifetime Products, visit www.lifetime.com.
