Lifetime Store to Host Third Annual Salute Our Troops Memorial Day Event

CLEARFIELD, UTAH — Lifetime Store, the Official Lifetime Products Outlet Store, will host a "Salute Our Troops" Event this Memorial Day on May 28, 2012. The third annual event will be held from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. at the Lifetime Store located at 5296 South Freeway Park Drive in Riverdale, Utah.

Special Memorial Day activities and promotions will be held only at the Riverdale store location with five percent of proceeds from the Memorial Day sales at the Riverdale location being donated to the Utah Military Families Foundation (UMFF), a privately-funded non-profit organization headquartered at Hill Air Force Base that supports over 80,000 military families throughout Utah. Through this annual event, the community has helped Lifetime Store raise more than $3,300 for the UMFF over the past two years. 

In addition to donating of a portion of proceeds to the UMFF, Lifetime Store also offers a 10 percent military discount every day for all active duty, retired, dependent, guard, and reserve military with a valid military ID. The discount is good for any in-store purchase at all five Lifetime Store locations.

"We love hosting this event and being able to show our appreciation to our local military men and women, and their families, " said Lifetime Store Regional Manager Nate Ashby.  "Lifetime strives to make a difference in everything we do, so this is a way for us to partner with the community to thank our troops and help give back for the great sacrifices they make day-in and day-out for our community and our country."

97.1 ZHT will broadcast live from the Lifetime Store Riverdale location for this one-day event which will feature activities, contests, product giveaways, and promotions. Customers of all ages and skill can take a shot in free throw contests to win a Lifetime portable basketball hoop, make a guess to win a Lifetime wheelbarrow, and try an arcade-style basketball challenge to win various prizes and gift certificates.

Customers can also enjoy free light refreshments during the event, and will receive a free American stick flag with every purchase made on Memorial Day. In addition, all five Lifetime Store locations will offer special Memorial Day discounts.
