Faster Composting Process with New Lifetime 65Gallon Compost Tumbler

June 23, 2011

Lifetime Composter

CLEARFIELD, UTAH — A new compost tumbler from Lifetime Products, a leading manufacturer of blow-molded lawn and garden products, features a large internal aeration system that makes the composting process both faster and easier.

Gone are the days of time-consuming and labor-intensive work using a pitch fork to stir messy compost piles. The Lifetime 65-Gallon Compost Tumbler has one of the industry’s best composter designs, allowing it to turn on an axis for easy and balanced rotation using the built-in handles. During each turn, the large aerated internal bar mixes the compost and allows air to flow through the composter to help quicken the batching process time. To ensure the tumbler does not rotate during filling, the composter is equipped with a spring-loaded locking pin.

The Lifetime 65-Gallon Composter is constructed of black, double-wall high-density polyethylene (HDPE) panels. These panels are specifically designed to absorb and retain heat which speeds up composting time. Loading and unloading material from the composter is easy thanks to the extra large removable lid and the steel frame which holds the composter off the ground to create a convenient loading height.

The combination of the raised steel frame and durable HDPE panels that fully-enclose the compost materials with a latching lid makes the Lifetime 65-Gallon Composter pest-proof and aesthetically pleasing. The frame is a powder-coated and galvanized steel frame that is weather-and rust-resistant.

The Lifetime 65-Gallon Composter, which retails at $99 and is available nationwide at Sam's Club, Home Depot, and various online retailers including the Lifetime Store, includes a "How to Compost" guide and a 5-year manufacturer's warranty. The new composter joins Lifetime's extensive line of lawn and garden products including wheelbarrows, raised garden beds, picnic tables, outdoor storage sheds, and a larger 80-gallon compost tumbler.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Lifetime Products, Inc. was established in 1986 and is a privately-held company headquartered in Clearfield, Utah. Lifetime’s products are sold in 58 countries.
