Score a Tailgating Touchdown with New Lifetime Folding Tailgate Table
June 22, 2011
CLEARFIELD, UTAH — Regardless of which team they root for, tailgating enthusiasts are sure to give a cheer for the new Lifetime Folding Tailgate Table debuting nationwide this month.
The new Folding Tailgate Table from Lifetime Products, the inventor and world's leading manufacturer of blow-molded folding tables and chairs, features a 5'6" x 28" high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tabletop for preparing or serving food with an attached 28" x 15" heavy-duty grill rack with utensil holder. Because transportability is a necessity for tailgating products, the metal rack conveniently folds inside the polyethylene table and the entire table then folds in half to a mere 33" x 28" for easy transport and storage with the built-in carry handle.
No more worries over spilled ketchup, mustard, or even barbeque sauce with the new Lifetime Folding Tailgate Table. Like all Lifetime folding tables, the HDPE tabletop is UV-protected and stain resistant, easy to clean, and will not crack, chip, or peel. In addition, the sturdy steel frame has a powder-coated finish that protects against weather, rust, and corrosion.
"After listening to our consumers, we learned that most tailgaters wanted a large table area adjacent to their grill space. Now, rather than having to lug around two separate tables, the new Lifetime Folding Tailgate Table conveniently combines their serving and grilling table space needs all into one product," said Lifetime Product Marketing Manager Darrin Gunnell. "Although we designed it with the tailgater in mind, it's also an ideal table for picnics or any outdoor get-together."
The Lifetime Folding Tailgate Table joins Lifetime's extensive line of folding table products, including several other outdoor recreational tables like folding picnic tables, Camp Tables, and Sport Tables. Just in time for the start of tailgating season, it is available in-store exclusively at Sam's Club. In 1995, Lifetime Products invented blow-molded polyethylene picnic tabletops. Blow-molded polyethylene tabletops are stronger and more durable than wood. Lifetime expanded its blow-molding technology in 1998 by introducing the first blow-molded polyethylene folding banquet table.
