Start A Garden in One Hour with New Lifetime Raised Garden Kit

CLEARFIELD, UTAH — Lifetime Products, a leading innovator and manufacturer of blow-molded tables and storage sheds, is expanding its line of outdoor lawn and garden products with the introduction of the first blow-molded Raised Garden Kit.

The Lifetime 4'x4' Raised Garden Kit provides a full garden setup in less than one hour of easy, do-it-yourself assembly with no tools required. The Lifetime Raised Garden Kit is constructed of UV-protected, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) so they are low-maintenance, weather-resistant, and will not rot, crack, chip or peel like traditional wooden raised garden beds.

"We recognized that more people are starting to get back-to-basics and are interested in growing their own fruits and vegetables to eat healthier and save on grocery costs," said Lifetime Product Marketing Manager Darrin Gunnell. "Unfortunately, a traditional garden often times takes up too much space, uses too much dirt, requires too much time to prepare, and just simply isn't an option.  Now, with Lifetime's Raised Garden Kit, you can grow a full garden almost anywhere and set it all up in less than one hour."

Developed in collaboration with gardening expert Mel Bartholomew, inventor of square foot gardening, the Lifetime Raised Garden Kit is uniquely designed to absorb and retain the needed warmth for root development. In addition, two 4'x4' Lifetime Raised Garden Kits can be stacked on top of each other to create 18-inch high walls to accommodate deep rooted plants.

The Lifetime Raised Garden Kits feature a simulated wood design which does not emit any toxicity to ensure healthy plant growth. They also include an Early Start Enclosure cover to turn one bed into a greenhouse for colder weather planting. Each Lifetime Raised Garden Kit also comes with an exclusive Raised Garden Bed Guide booklet written by Bartholomew specifically for Lifetime.

Gunnell explained that the appeal of raised garden beds is the amount of time and space they save, as well as the fact that they require less work and attention. "We've listed everything on the package a customer needs to purchase, including soil products, to make it an easy one-stop shopping experience to start their garden," said Gunnell.

Retailing for approximately $99 and backed by a five-year manufacturer's warranty, the single-boxed Lifetime Raised Garden Kit is currently available at Costco Wholesale stores.
