The Sky's the Limit with Lifetime's New 7'x7' Storage Shed
May 3, 2010
CLEARFIELD, UTAH — Lifetime Products, the world's largest manufacturer of blow-molded outdoor storage sheds, will showcase its new 7'x7' storage shed at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 4-6, 2010.
The Lifetime 7'x7' shed debuts with several features new to Lifetime sheds, including an end-to-end skylight running the entire length of the roof to maximize natural lighting.
"Customers are using sheds for much more than just storage nowadays," said Lifetime Product Marketing Manger Darrin Gunnell. "Outdoor storage sheds are turning into ideal hobby spots for woodworking, gardening, and more. When you combine our new full-length skylight with the two-screened roof vents and windows that open, we've truly created a very versatile product for everyday backyard use."
Another highlight of the Lifetime 7'x7' shed is the newly-designed, steel-hinged double doors that open nearly 180 degrees to allow easy access for even large lawn equipment like wheelbarrows and riding mowers. In addition, the shed unveils a new wall profile which provides a realistic "siding" appearance.
Like all Lifetime sheds, the new 7'x7' shed is constructed of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with steel-reinforced double-wall panels to provide ultimate durability. The blow-molded polyethylene walls and doors have wood-grained textured panels while the roof features simulated shingles. Lifetime sheds are maintenance-free with stain-resistant and UV-protected polyethylene and powder-coated steel. They are weather-resistant, require no painting, and will not splinter, chip, peel, rust, or fade.
The 7'x7' shed is 89" high with a 5:12 roof pitch for quick drainage. Other highlights of the shed include a slip-resistant polyethylene floor and an exterior door padlock loop with two interior deadbolts. The Lifetime 7'x7' shed is available in two styles: a one-window, no shelving model; and a two-window, one-shelf model. Both models can accommodate additional shed accessories such as shelving, peg strips, and lighting which is available for separate purchase.
Manufactured 100% in Lifetime Products' Clearfield, Utah factory, the 7'x7' shed currently is available nationally at Sam's Club and BJ's Wholesale Club, and is being tested at various Lowe's Home Improvement Stores.
